Ultralight Plane Crash in Tiny Township
The OPP are investigating an ultralight plane crash in Tiny Township.
The pilot was attempting to land at a private airstrip near Mertz and Baseline Roads when it ended up in a nearby cornfield.
The pilot, a man in his 50s, was taken to Georgian Bay General with serious injuries, and was expected to be transferred to a Toronto trauma centre once stabilized. His name has not been released.
The Transportation Safety Board will be on the scene today for the investigation.
