Owen Sound Police are investigating after two golden pheasants were found dead this morning in Harrison Park.
Police believe someone opened the door to the bird-stall at some point overnight.
Staff at the park discovered the pheasants missing early this morning and located the lifeless birds a short distance away.
How the birds died has not been determined yet.
Foul play is being investigated as a contributing factor in this incident.
Birds in adjacent stalls were accounted for and their coops were undamaged.
If you were in Harrison Park between the hours of 5:00 pm on Wednesday April 19 and 9:00 a.m on Wednesday April 20, 2017 and saw any mischief being done in the area of the stalls, you are asked to contact Police or Crime Stoppers.
