MS Chi-Cheemaun looking fresh for 2017 season
The MS Chi-Cheemaun has left the Owen Sound Harbour and has begun their trips to Manitoulin Island, but for those who were unable to catch a glimpse of the new renovations on the Big Canoe, here’s a sneak peek!
The new mural and decal on the outside of the ship.
The recently renovated forward lounge area, called the Fathom Five lounge! Including an updated seating area.
The Chi-Cheemaun has a gallery area where you can check out the work of local artists.
More seating is available in the newly renovated reception area.
The upper deck is a great place to have the full ferry experience!
The Owen Sound Transportation Company says they has also began developing more on board experiences with the dining and entertainment cruises as well as First Nations guided interpretation and story telling which highlight some of the unique experiences on the Peninsula and Manitoulin Island.
