Hanover police search for missing woman
On August 9th 2017 at approximately 4:20 p.m. the Hanover Police Service received an emergency call for service related to a suspected drug overdose in the 300 block of 10th Street.
The initial reports had Hanover Police, Hanover Fire and Grey County Paramedics responding to a female who was in medical distress with no vital signs. Prior to emergency services attending the scene, acquaintances of the female in medical distress administered Naloxone from a personal kit and started CPR.
The naloxone is a medication used to block the effects of opioids, especially in incidents of overdose.
The female, identified as 27-year-old Tiffany Johnson of Owen Sound regained consciousness and fled the scene on foot without receiving further medical treatment from paramedics.
She was last seen in the Downtown Core of Hanover wearing a black thin strapped tank top style shirt with black pants.
The Hanover Police Service is warning the general public that taking illegal substances from sources of unknown origin is considered a serious health risk that could result in death.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tiffany Johnson is requested to contact Hanover Police Service investigators at 519-364-2411.
