Drug warrant nets meth and cocaine
Two people have been charged after a search warrant was executed in Owen Sound.
During the morning hours of December 5, 2017, police executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 100 block of 5th Street East.
An investigation had identified the residence as being involved in the trafficking of Methamphetamine.
A subsequent search of the apartment resulted in the seizure of 26 grams of Methamphetamine as well as a small quantity of Cocaine. The street value of the seized methamphetamine is approximately $2,600.
Police also seized cash proceeds from the sale of narcotics and recovered stolen property from
A 34 year old male and a 27 year old female, both of Owen Sound, face a series of criminal charges including possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
