Driver charged in October fatal collision
One of the drivers involved in a fatal collision along Highway 6 back at the beginning of October has been charged.
On October 3 at around 8 p.m., OPP received a report of a serious motor vehicle collision between a motorcycle and a Pontiac G6 on Highway 6 between Barrow Bay Road and Cemetery Road in Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula.
The motorcycle rider, 38-year-old Edward (Chad) Honneyman from Wiarton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
On December 5, 2017, Bruce Peninsula OPP arrested and charged the driver of the Pontiac, 30 year old male, Justin Lozon of Northern Bruce Peninsula.
He has been charged with the following:
Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle Causing Death, Criminal Code of Canada (CC) 249(4)
Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) 4(1)
