Bruce Power raises $9300 for Hurricane Harvey
A site-wide fundraiser collected $9,300 for the Canadian Red Cross’ Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
“Our employees have stepped up to the plate to help others suffering through the devastation experienced in the Houston area,” said Cathy Sprague, Executive Vice President, Human Resources. “When our employees saw the images of the flooding that caused immeasurable human and property loss, many came to us with the idea of the fundraiser for the Red Cross. “The generosity of our employees is truly humbling, as they constantly step up for those in need.”
The community can donate to the Red Cross’ Hurricane Harvey relief efforts through the Bruce Power portal at www.redcross.ca/HurricaneHarvey/BrucePower.
