Another Hidden Grey County Treasure
Chances are good if you went to school in Owen Sound you took a field trip to the Bognor Marsh and odds are good that you haven’t been back.
You should go back!
I took a family adventure there recently and we had an incredible afternoon. It is one of the largest marsh systems in Grey County, made up of 68 hectares of escarpment upland forests, three major marshes, Ducks Unlimited dam, Bruce Trail access, reforested areas, and several small springs. It is a short walk back to the marsh.
The views are stunning!
There are multiple boardwalks
A look out
And you can fish there!
Head south from Owen Sound on 6 & 10 and turn left at Rockford, travel 10.8 KM’s and you will find a parking area for the Bognor Marsh on the left hand side.
